His Excellency the President of the Republic, M. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, arrived Saturday evening at Freetown-Lungi International Airport, in the Republic of Sierra Leone, to participate in the Summit on the Future of Regional Integration in West Africa as well as the proceedings of the 69th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).<\/p>\n
His Excellency the President of the Republic was welcomed at the foot of the aircraft steps by His Excellency the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, M. Julius Maada Bio, accompanied by several high-ranking state officials. At the end of the welcoming ceremony, His Excellency the President of the Republic and his Sierra Leonean counterpart reviewed a detachment of the honor guard, which rendered them military honors.<\/p>\n
