The president of the republic, his Excellency M. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, has conducted a meeting this Wednesday , with a delegation from the International Finance Corporation presided by the regional vice president for Africa, M. S\u00e9rgio Pimenta.
\nAt the end of the meeting, in a statement to Mauritanian News Agency (AMI), the president of the IFC delegation declared to be honoured by being received by the president of the republic, his Excellency M Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani while pinpointing that the delegation has come to Mauritania to check out for possibilities to support the private sector and to Mauritanian companies, following the health crisis of Covid -19 that had strong impacts on Mauritania the like everywhere.
\nHe added that the development of Africa runs through the private sector, which makes its support to Mauritania a goal, as well as the help to Mauritanian and foreign investors to bring about job creation for young and women and create a long term economic growth.
\nThe meeting took place in the presence of MM.
