Nouakchott, 16 November 2020 (AMI)-The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, declared, Monday morning, from the town of Mbout, the opening of the new school year 2020-2021.
\nOn the occasion of the new school year opening, the President of the Republic honored a group of students and teachers by granting them a considerable amount of money to encourage creativity, sacrifice in the service of the republican school. He also followed a presentation on some aspects of the program” My priorities n\u00b0 1″.
\nIn response to the shortages in the educational field, the authorities laid the foundation stone of two complete schools and one middle school in Mbout. Such projects are a solution to the overcrowded classes, which constitute hamper significantly the teachers\u2019 work.
\nFor his part, the mayor of Mbout evoked the problems and challenges that the inhabitants of Mbout face daily despite the support of the ministries of Rural Development, Health, water and Education.
