His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, sent a message of condolence this Sunday to His Excellency Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, following the death of the former Algerian President and freedom fighter, Liamine Zeroual.<\/p>\n
The text of the message is as follows:<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is with profound sadness that I learned of the passing of the former President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, the Mujahid Liamine Zeroual.<\/p>\n
On this sad occasion, I extend to Your Excellency\u2014and through you to the government and people of the sisterly People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, as well as to the family of the deceased and all his relatives\u2014my most sincere condolences and deepest compassion.<\/p>\n
I pray to Almighty Allah to grant him His infinite mercy, to welcome him into His vast Paradise, and to grant his family and loved ones patience and comfort.<\/p>\n
