The Minister of Public Service and Labor, Ms. Mariem Mint Boydiel Ould Houmeid, participated today, Monday, in the opening of the 356th session of the Governing Body of the International Labour Organization, being held in Geneva from March 23 to April 2, 2026.
\nDuring this session, the Governing Body will examine a range of institutional, political, legal, and financial issues, including the adoption of the minutes of the previous session, preparations for the International Labour Conference, and monitoring the implementation of international labor standards, as well as discussing the development cooperation strategy and a number of legal matters related to the delegation of authority and standards review mechanisms.
\nThe agenda also includes an evaluation of program and budget implementation, a review of oversight and audit reports, and a discussion of the human resources strategy, as well as a number of administrative and financial issues related to the organization\u2019s governance and the strengthening of its institutional performance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
