On 30 December, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, returned to Nouakchott from the city of Nouadhibou, after inaugurating and launching vital development projects as part of the 65th anniversary of National Independence Day.<\/span><\/p>\n

The President of the Republic was welcomed at Nouakchott Oumtounsy International Airport by the Prime Minister, the Minister Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Republic, the Minister Counselors at the Presidency of the Republic, the Minister of Justice, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, the Minister of Defense, Retirees and Children of Martyrs\u2019 Affairs, the Minister of Interior, Decentralization, and Local Development, the Chief of Special Staff of the President of the Republic, the Deputy Director of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic, the Wali of Nouakchott West, and the President of the Nouakchott Region.<\/span><\/p>\n

The President of the Republic was accompanied by a large delegation, including:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Mr. Nani Ould Chrougha, Minister in charge of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Mr. Mokhtar Ould Bousseif, Minister of Fisheries, Maritime and Port Infrastructure;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Ms. Mariem Boydiel, Minister of Civil Service and Labor;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Mr. El Houssein Ould Meddou, Minister of Culture, Arts, Communication, and Relations with Parliament, Government Spokesperson;<\/span><\/p>\n
