The ‘German\u00a0 former students Association’ held its general assembly last night in Nouakchott to elect its new executive board.<\/p>\n
In his speech on the occasion, the elected chairman, Mr. Mohamed Said Ahmed, thanked the German Ambassador on behalf of the association, considering his presence as a reflection of Germany’s interest in and support for training and exchange programs.<\/p>\n
He pointed out that the association holds a firm conviction that investing in people, knowledge, and international experience is a solid foundation for building sustainable partnerships and serving development and mutual understanding among peoples, reaffirming his and his colleagues’ commitment to working diligently and persistently to achieve the ambitious goals the association seeks to accomplish.<\/p>\n
In turn, His Excellency the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Mauritania, Mr. Florian Rendel, expressed his pleasure at attending this association, noting that the relations between Mauritania and Germany have continued for more than 65 years, witnessing stories of mutual cooperation, the most prominent of which was the German Academic Exchange Service, the scholarship system in Germany.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
