On 23 September, Foreign Minister Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug attended the opening of the 80th UN General Assembly in New York. This year\u2019s agenda, themed \u201cBetter together:\u00a080 years\u00a0and\u00a0more\u00a0for\u00a0peace,\u00a0development\u00a0and\u00a0human rights\u201d, calls for collaboration on key global issues and includes high-level meetings\u2014such as pivotal discussions on the Palestinian issue.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to the Minister, the participating delegation includes:<\/span><\/p>\n
