The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, and his illustrious Senegalese guest, His Excellency Mr. Macky Sall, supervised, Monday afternoon at the Presidential Palace in Nouakchott, the signing of a set of cooperation agreements between the two countries. <\/p>\n
The agreements that were signed on the occasion of the friendship and working visit that His Excellency Mr. Macky Sall is paying to our country cover the areas of justice, environment, equipment, and transport. <\/p>\n
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad, Ms. Aissata Tall Sall, signed four agreements in the field of justice relating to: judicial cooperation in criminal matters, judicial cooperation in the civil and commercial fields, and extradition of wanted persons in both countries.
\nThey also signed an agreement in the field of cooperation between the two countries in the field of environment and sustainable development. <\/p>\n
The Minister of Equipment and Transport, Mr. Mohamedou Ahmedou Mhaimid, and his Senegalese counterpart, Mr. Mansour Faye, signed an agreement related to land transport between the two countries. <\/p>\n
The Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Economy, Mr. Dy Ould Zein, and his Senegalese counterpart, Mr. Alioune Ndoye, also signed a cooperation agreement in the field of fishing and fish farming.<\/p>\n
