The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, received a letter from the president of the brotherly Republic of Guinea Bissau, His Excellency Mr. Umaro Sissoco Embalo.<\/p>\n
The letter was delivered by the prime minister of Guinea Bissau, Mr. Nuno Gomes Nabiam, a special envoy from the president of Guinea Bissau.
\nAfter the meeting with the president of the republic, the Bissau-Guinean envoy made the following statement to the Mauritanian News Agency:<\/p>\n
” I, accompanied by my country’s minister of fisheries, was honored to hand in a letter from His Excellency Mr. Umaro Sissoco Embalo to his brother Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.<\/p>\n
This letter falls within the framework of president Embalo’s conviction of the necessity of boosting the brotherly ties between the two nations and developing cooperative relations between the two countries.
\nWe discussed with His Excellency the President of the Republic various topics, and we will hold later a working session with the minister of fisheries and maritime economy”.<\/p>\n
The meeting took place in the presence of:<\/p>\n
-The minister, secretary-general of the presidency of the republic, Mr. Adama Bocar Soko.<\/p>\n
-The minister of fisheries and maritime economy, Mr. Dy Ould Zein.<\/p>\n
