On 31 July, in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, received His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Al-Assad, the Ambassador of the brotherly State of Palestine to Mauritania.<\/p>\n
The meeting examined various issues relating to cooperation between the two countries and prospects for strengthening and developing it in the interests of the two brotherly people.<\/p>\n
The two sides exchanged views on issues of common interest, particularly the cause of the Palestinian people and their suffering due to the brutal occupation by the Zionist occupying entity.<\/p>\n
