The Secretary General of the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Employment, Sports and Civil Service, Mr. Najy Ould Khathri, oversaw today, Tuesday evening, the launch of a community mobilization campaign to protect youth from the dangers of drugs and violence in the regions of Western and Northern Nouakchott.This campaign is part of the national program to protect youth from drugs and psychoactive substances, organized under the slogan: “Together Against Drugs and Violence,” with the aim of raising community awareness and fortifying the youth against these growing threats.The event featured a series of sports and cultural activities that began from the square in front of Ibn Sina Hospital in Tevragh Zeina, passing through La Ksar Stadium, and the Youth Center in the Toubac area, with wide participation from youth and local activists.<\/p>\n
In his speech on the occasion, the Secretary-General emphasized the importance of the campaign, explaining that it represents an effective tool for awareness and community mobilization.
