His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, returned to Nouakchott on Sunday evening from Equatorial Guinea, after attending the seventh semi-annual coordination meeting of the African Union, held in the capital, Malabo, with the participation of African Heads of State and Government.<\/p>\n

The President of the Republic was welcomed at Nouakchott Oumtounsi International Airport by the Prime Minister, Mr. El Moctar Ould Djay, the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Moulaye Ould Mohamed Laghdaf, the Ministerial Advisors to the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Abdallahi Ould Ethmane and Mrs. Aissata Ba Yahia, the Minister of Justice, Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Cheikh Abdallahi Ben Beya, the Minister of Defense, Retirees, and Martyrs’ Families, Mr. Henan Ould Sidi, the Minister of the Interior, Decentralization, and Local Development, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Ould Mohamed Lemine, the Chief of the President’s Personal Staff, General Brahim Vall Ould Cheibani Cheikh Ahmed, the Deputy Director of the President\u2019s Cabinet, Mrs. Gandega Fatimata, the Wali of Nouakchott West, Mr. M\u2019Rabih Rabou Ould Bounena Ould Abidine, and the President of the Nouakchott Regional Council, Mrs. Vatimetou Mint Abdel Maleck.<\/p>\n
