Mr. Momma Ould Bibateh, returned to Nouakchott on Sunday evening from the Brazilian capital, Brasilia, after participating in the second Brazilian-African Dialogue Forum on Food Security and Fighting Hunger, held between May 19 and 23.<\/p>\n<p>The forum witnessed the participation of 44 delegations from African countries, financial institutions and international and research organizations, and focused on exchanging experiences and promoting South-South cooperation, especially in the areas of supporting family farming and combating poverty and hunger.<\/p>\n<p>On the sidelines of the forum, the minister held talks with a number of Brazilian officials on means of cooperation in the fields of agricultural research, training and human resources development, and benefiting from the Brazilian experience in supporting small producers.<\/p>\n<p>The minister was accompanied by Mr. Adama Barry, technical advisor in charge of agricultural divisions and plant protection.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, H.E.
