As part of his pledge to promote equitable and balanced development, and in the application of his commitments during the last presidential campaign to meet citizens’ aspirations and satisfy their needs throughout the country, H.E. Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, has ordered to begin implementing the results of the regional forums for participatory development planning, which were recently organized under his direct supervision, covering the country’s various wilayas.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this context, H.E. the President of the Republic today chaired a meeting at the Presidential Palace attended by :<\/span><\/p>\n

– H.E. the Prime Minister, Mr. El Moctar Ould Djay.<\/span><\/p>\n

– H.E. the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Moulaye Ould Mohamed Laghdhaf.<\/span><\/p>\n

– H.E. Mr. Nani Ould Chrouga, the Minister in charge of the Office of the President of the Republic.<\/span><\/p>\n

– H.E. Mr Mohamed Ould Ethmane, a Minister Counselor at the President of the Republic.<\/span><\/p>\n

– H.E. Ms. Aissata Ba Yahiya, the Minister Advisor at the Presidency of the Republic.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Their Excellencies the Ministers responsible for the forums.<\/span><\/p>\n

– The Advisors to the President of the Republic, members of the ministerial consultation missions.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the meeting, H.E. the President of the Republic stressed the need to immediately transform citizens’ demands into concrete development programs for the benefit of all inland municipalities while setting priorities according to a transparent and equitable approach, speeding up implementation, ensuring the quality of equipment and rigorous monitoring through an appropriate mechanism.<\/span><\/p>\n

He also ordered the urgent elaboration of a development program for all the municipalities of the Dakhlet-Nouadhibou wilaya, taking into account the specificities of this wilaya, being the economic capital of the country and the location of the Nouadhibou free zone.<\/span><\/p>\n

This meeting reflects the determination of the President of the Republic to accelerate the pace of the country’s overall development, strengthen access to basic services, and consolidate the participative governance approach in line with a vision of emergence that places the citizen at the center of the development process.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
