The Minister of Digital Transformation and Modernization of Administration, Ahmed Salem Ould Bede Etvagha, oversaw, Thursday in Nouakchott, the launch of the project to promote digital transformation in Mauritania.<\/p>\n
This project aims to bring digitization to Mauritania and find new solutions that are unified and close to citizens by setting common standards and making public services accessible to all.<\/p>\n
In a speech on the occasion, the Minister of Digital Transformation and Modernization of Administration explained that this project, which falls within the framework of promoting digital development in Mauritania, seeks to lay solid foundations for a future in which digital technology becomes an essential tool to improve public services, support the national economy and ensure service inclusion for all social groups.<\/p>\n
He said that our country has decided, under the guidance of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, and under the close follow-up of the government, to accelerate the process of digital transformation, by providing rapid digital solutions to improve government performance, enhance transparency and advance comprehensive development in the country.<\/p>\n
He praised the efforts of the German government to keep pace with the sector through initiatives and projects that will have a great impact on achieving the country’s ambitious goals in the field of digital transformation and modernization of management.<\/p>\n
For his part, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, H.E. Mr. Florian Reindel, reviewed the broad outlines of this project, which will enable the establishment of fruitful and constructive cooperation in the field of digitization between the two countries, noting the great efforts made by Mauritanian technical partners and entrepreneurs to provide solutions to the challenges posed to the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
