{"id":18918,"date":"2024-08-26T20:57:32","date_gmt":"2024-08-26T20:57:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ami.mr\/en\/?p=18918"},"modified":"2024-08-26T20:57:32","modified_gmt":"2024-08-26T20:57:32","slug":"presidential-decree-convenes-extraordinary-session-of-national-assembly","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ami.mr\/en\/archives\/18918","title":{"rendered":"Presidential Decree Convenes Extraordinary Session of National Assembly"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Presidency of the Republic communicates that, by decree on\u00a0 Monday, 26 August \u00a02024, Parliament is convened in an extraordinary session starting Wednesday, 4 September 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The decree reads as follows:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The President Of the Republic,<\/p>\n<p>Upon the report of the Prime Minister,<\/p>\n<p>Having regard to Article 53 of the Constitution,<\/p>\n<p>Decrees:<\/p>\n<p>Article 1: Parliament is convened in an extraordinary session starting Wednesday, 4 September 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Article 2: The agenda of this session will include:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>the Presentation of the Declaration of the Government\u2019s General Policy,<\/li>\n<li>a draft law establishing the specialized court to combat slavery, human trafficking, and migrant smuggling.<\/li>\n<li>a draft law amending some provisions of law number 65-046 on 23 February 1965 containing penal provisions relating to the immigration regime.<\/li>\n<li>a draft law on the green hydrogen code.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Article 3: The Prime Minister is responsible for the execution of this decree, which will be published following the emergency procedure in the Official Journal of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Presidency of the Republic communicates that, by decree on\u00a0 Monday, 26 August \u00a02024, Parliament is convened in an extraordinary session starting Wednesday, 4 September 2024.
