The Minister Secretary General of the Presidency, Mr. Moulay Ould Mohamed Laghdaf, announced, on Monday night, during a press briefing at the Presidency, the formation of the new Government.<\/p>\n
This cabinet reflects the priority given by the President of the Republic to youth, vocational training, education and local development, according to the following statement:<\/p>\n
“Following the election of His Excellency the President of the Republic, HE. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, for a new term, and the subsequent resignation of the government in accordance with the requirements of the Constitution, His Excellency appointed Mokhtar Ould Diay as Prime Minister and instructed him to form an integrated and harmonious government, whose members are distinguished by their competence,\u00a0 their experience and expertise, to implement all the provisions of his electoral program, which was approved by the majority of the Mauritanian people.<\/p>\n
The composition of the Government reflects the priority given by the President of the Republic to youth, vocational training, education and local development and reflects, in its structure, a clear concern for the fluidity and efficiency of the Government’s work, including the expansion of the mandates of the sectors, the merger of others and the creation of new departments,\u00a0 as required by the harmonious and effective implementation of the electoral program of His Excellency the President of the Republic.<\/p>\n
