The Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors, Mr. Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, held a meeting, on Tuesday in Nouakchott, with representatives of United Nations agencies in Mauritania, led by the Resident Coordinator of these agencies, Mr. Anthony Kwaku Ohemeng Boamah. <\/p>\n
The meeting reviewed preparations for the second five-year plan 2025-2021 of the Strategy for Accelerated Growth and Shared Prosperity (SCAPP). <\/p>\n
On this occasion, the Minister highly appreciated the partnership between Mauritania and these UN agencies, which has resulted in fruitful cooperation at all levels. <\/p>\n
The meeting called for the need to accelerate the implementation of the new five-year plan, which our country will present to donors for consultation, but also with a view to mobilizing support before the end of 2021. <\/p>\n
During the meeting, the representatives of the UN agencies expressed the will of their respective bodies to fully support Mauritania in the implementation of the new five-year development plan. <\/p>\n
The meeting was also an opportunity for Abbass Sylla, director general of development policies and strategies of the ministry to present the benchmark indicators of the said plan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
