On 4 July, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, received a congratulatory message from HE Mr. Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, the President of the Republic of Portugal, on the occasion of his re-election, on 29 June 2024, for a new term.<\/p>\n

On the occasion of your re-election as President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, I would like to congratulate you, on behalf of the Portuguese people and my own behalf, and wish you every success in the noble functions that you will continue to fulfill.<\/p>\n
