On 26 June, Mr. Mohamed Lemine El Mourtegi El Wafi, the candidate for the June 2024 presidential elections, made a propaganda tour in Zouerate to explain his electoral program. The tour took him to several parts of the city’s market, where he met sellers and buyers.<\/p>\n
At the end of this tour, the candidate declared that he decided to hold the final meeting of his electoral campaign in the town of Zouerate, which, he said, pushed him to tour the market of the city before the meeting to find out about the situation of the populations and know their problems closely.<\/p>\n
He noted that the population welcomed him with joy, which indicates, according to him, the desire of the people for change, particularly the young people, expressing his wish to win the elections in the first round.<\/p>\n
He said he counted very heavily on the vulnerable segments who suffered, according to him, from marginalization and despair under the old regimes.<\/p>\n
He finally called on the people to vote for him and provide an opportunity for young people by allowing them to manage Mauritania and reform it.<\/p>\n
