The candidate for the 2024 presidential elections, Mr. El Eid Mohameden M’barek, condemned all forms of aggression or violence against public and private property, stressing that Mauritania is for everyone, and that any threat to security will make them on the front line to defend the country, calling on young people to unite ranks and reject division among the components of the people.<\/p>\n
He said that peace, security and tranquility are priceless, stressing that he is an advocate and protector of peace, fraternity and compassion among all components of the people, reminding that he did not run in the name of a race or a state, but in the name of the whole people.<\/p>\n
The candidate pledged to return the country’s wealth and allocate it to the education and employment of Mauritania’s children and give hope to the youth by finding a decent life for them, he said.<\/p>\n
He explained that his candidacy did not come out of a vacuum, but was taken after deep reflection, noting that the so-called “Coalition of Rescue Forces” that nominated him includes many opposition political forces.<\/p>\n
He said that he believes in justice because he is convinced that there is no development without it, pledging to implement, if he wins the presidency, all the commitments and pledges he made to the people, adding that as a legal expert, he realizes the seriousness of the oath, the lack of commitment to what he swore to, and the danger of insecurity and education.<\/p>\n
The candidate said that he will apply the Mauritanian law derived from Islamic law and will not make it a dead letter, pointing out that the law includes everyone without distinction.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
