Presidential candidate Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazwani said that the Wilaya of Tiris Zemmour has made important strides over the past five years towards achieving development and changing the reality of its residents for the better, as its investment portfolio during this period reached 170 billion 800 million old ouguiyas, directed to various vital sectors.
\nDuring an election rally organized by his campaign on Sunday evening in the city of Zouerat, he added that these investments enabled the expansion of the electrical grid in Zouerat, the construction of a 30-megawatt thermal plant and a 12-megawatt solar plant, a series of drilling operations to obtain potable water, and an increase in the capacity of the desalination plant in Zouerat.
\nHe said 1,323 people in the Wilaya have benefited from universal health insurance, 3,202 people have benefited from cash transfers, and 198 social housing has been built.
\nHe pledged to double investments in the Wilaya of Tiris Zamour and direct them towards vital areas, develop SNIM, increase the added value of its production, improve the conditions of its workers, and improve the status of indigenous mining, while focusing on not exploiting our mineral potential at the expense of our environment and renewable resources.
\nHe said he will work to achieve a profound developmental transformation at all levels through the implementation of an ambitious and realistic development program that will be implemented under the follow-up and acceleration of some of the axes of the first mandate program, such as the axis of political pacification, the year of consultation, the axis of strengthening security and stability, and the axis related to social interventions, in addition to following up on the implementation of the Republican School project.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
