The candidate of the National Rally for Reform and Development (Tawasul) party for the 2024 presidential elections, Mr. Hamadi Sidi Mokhtar Mohamed Abdi, launched on Friday at dawn from the capital, Nouakchott, his electoral campaign ahead of the 29th of this month.<\/p>\n
In his opening speech, the candidate pledged to work to restore the country to its glory by focusing on the true Islamic religion, rehabilitating the scholars, imams, scholars of Sharia and Men of religion, as well as the mahdhara and mosques.<\/p>\n
He said that all components of the Mauritanian people will be the center of his attention, through the “Tawasul” project, which will remove all these effects, without excluding anyone, explaining that the “Tawasul” project will restore justice and confidence in the judiciary.<\/p>\n
He emphasized that his project will restore women to their place as they were during the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, by enacting laws that protect women.<\/p>\n
He also emphasized the role of youth and its importance in building and progress, stressing that his project will give special attention to youth by creating decent job opportunities, stressing that the fragile layers of society will also be the focus of his attention, explaining that his project has no place for corruption and corrupt people.<\/p>\n
He explained that education in the country suffers from challenges that require correcting its course towards a serious and elaborate reform, stressing that he will work resolutely to increase the salaries of teachers many times more than they were to match the minister’s salary, explaining that the health system will also receive special attention.<\/p>\n
He pointed out that the situation of the national army requires a correction that meets the aspirations of every member of the army and security forces, and this is what the “Tawasul” project will work on by increasing their salaries and providing them with all the necessary equipment to protect the entire territory.<\/p>\n
