On 233 May, the Commission for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action, and Relations with Civil Society announced that\u00a0Mauritania’s\u00a0candidate for the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child\u00a0was selected\u00a0following a just concluded elections at the UN Headquarters in New York, during the 20th session\u00a0of States Parties to the UN Convention on the Rights of\u00a0the Child\u00a0of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).<\/p>\n
