{"id":16729,"date":"2024-05-22T21:55:30","date_gmt":"2024-05-22T21:55:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ami.mr\/en\/?p=16729"},"modified":"2024-05-23T11:49:55","modified_gmt":"2024-05-23T11:49:55","slug":"president-of-republic-au-chairman-arrives-in-ndjamena-to-attend-chadian-president-elects-swearing-in-ceremony","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ami.mr\/en\/archives\/16729","title":{"rendered":"President of Republic, AU Chairman, Arrives in N\u2019Djamena To Attend Chadian President-Elect\u2019s Swearing-In Ceremony"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 22 May,\u00a0His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, the President of the Republic and\u00a0Chairman of the African Union, arrived in the Chadian capital,\u00a0N&#8217;Djamena, to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the Chadian President-elect, Mohamed Idriss Deby Itno.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The President of the Republic was welcomed<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0upon his arrival at\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">N&#8217;Djamena<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0airport by Mr. Mohamed Saleh Elnadif, the\u00a0<\/span><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration, International<\/span><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0Cooperation, and\u00a0<\/span><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Chadians Abroad<\/span><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, and our Ambassador in\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">N&#8217;Djamena<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, HE Mr. Sidaty Cheikh Ahmed Aicha.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Several Chadian military formations presented a salute of honor to His Excellency the President of the Republic at\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">N&#8217;Djamena<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0airport\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">and<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0the<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0Mauritanian and Chadian national anthems\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">were played<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0to celebrate his arrival.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The President of the Republic shook the hands of the Chadian dignitaries who\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">came to welcome<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Outside the airport, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">was greeted<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0by members of the Mauritanian community, who came to welcome him brandishing flags and banners.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The President of the Republic\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">is accompanied<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0by a large delegation\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">including<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u2013 Mr. Mokhtar Ould Djay, the Minister in Charge of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u2013 Mr. Sidaty Ould Cheikh Ahmed Aicha, the Ambassador of Mauritania to Chad;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u2013 Mr. Sidi Mohamed Ould Ghaber, n Officer\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u2013 Mr.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0Houssein Ould Naji, an Advisor at the Presidency of the Republic;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u2013 Ms. A\u00efssata Daouda Diallo, an Advisor at the Presidency of the Republic;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u2013 Mr. El Hassan Ould Ahmed, the Director General of State Protocol.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 22 May,\u00a0His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, the President of the Republic and\u00a0Chairman of the African Union, arrived in the Chadian capital,\u00a0N&#8217;Djamena, to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the Chadian President-elect, Mohamed Idriss Deby Itno.
