The Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad in charge of Mauritanians Abroad, Mohamed Yahya Ould Said, explained that Mauritanian communities have benefited from important achievements since the first day of the arrival of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh EL Ghazouani, represented in the establishment of an institutional framework to take care of their affairs, where Mauritanians abroad were added to the designation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in addition to legal achievements, most notably, the dual nationality law allows citizens to maintain their original nationality and bond with their home country.
\nHe added during a meeting with the community residing in Medina on Wednesday that communication with the communities by His Excellency the President of the Republic constituted an important feature of this mission, as His Excellency held lengthy meetings with various communities around the world, listened to them and interacted with their interests and there were immediate solutions to their problems that they raised.
\n“I came to you with the greetings of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh EL Ghazouani, and my goal of this visit is to communicate with you directly, listen to you and share with you the talk about the achievements made,” he said.
