The Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Ambassador Maher Al-Karki, opened on Monday the photo exhibition organized by the Union of News Agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (UNA) at its headquarters in Jeddah, on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with Palestinian Journalists, in cooperation with the General Secretariat for Institutional Communication of the Muslim World League and in the presence of The Permanent Saudi Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Saleh bin Hamad Al-Suhaibani, and a number of the organization\u2019s officials and agencies.<\/p>\n
The exhibition comes within the framework of the efforts of the Union and the Muslim World League to support journalists in Palestine and highlight the targeting they are subjected to under the Israeli occupation and its ongoing war on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.<\/p>\n
The exhibition included more than 100 images showing the extent of the suffering to which the Palestinian people have been exposed since the start of the Israeli aggression last October, and documenting the massive destruction inflicted by the occupation on infrastructure and civilian facilities in the Gaza Strip.<\/p>\n
The exhibition also documents Israel’s violations and murders committed against unarmed civilians, including women and children.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
