The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, Mr. Ismael Ould Cheikh Ahmed, participated, via videoconference, in the second session of the ministerial meeting of the Japan-Arab political dialogue.<\/p>\n
In his speech, the minister praised the great efforts made by the Qatari minister of foreign affairs, Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, President of the Arab side, and Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. MOTEGI Toshimitsu, representative of the Government of Japan, and the general secretariat of the Arab league for providing the suitable conditions for the success of this dialogue.<\/p>\n
He stressed on the Importance of this meeting in fulfilling the targeted lofty objectives, which includes the scientific and cultural aspects and the development of human resources. He commended Japan\u2019s role in following up the projects and development programs in the Arab world.<\/p>\n
The minister called on everyone to work for providing the necessary vaccines to fight against COVID-19 Pandemic and its global destructive repercussions, noting Mauritania\u2019s wise plan to combat this pandemic.<\/p>\n
