On 14 February, on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit in Dubai, Mr. Mohamed Abdallahi Louly, the Minister of Digital Transformation, Innovation, and Modernization of Administration, held a meeting with Ms. Huda al-Hashimi, the UAE Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Strategic Affairs and Executive Director of Innovation of the UAE Government at the United Nations. The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation in the innovation field and ways to develop it.<\/p>\n
In his speech, Mr. Louly addressed innovation, saying it is a fundamental pillar of government action supporting digital transformation in our country.<\/p>\n
He also discussed the innovation ecosystem in Mauritania, the legislative laws for emerging innovative companies, and how they can contribute to developing innovative talents in the digital field.<\/p>\n
In turn, Ms. Al-Hashimi reviewed the strategic vision of the UAE Government, which focuses on the centrality of the promotion, dissemination, and generalization of innovation in government action and society. She stressed that the United Arab Emirates is open to popularizing the culture of innovation to make it the community’s way of life and the government action methodology.<\/p>\n
