Nouakchott, 23 Sept 2020 (AMI)-The Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Promotion of Productive Sectors organized on Tuesday in Nouakchott, an awareness-raising day on the extended priority program of the President of the Republic. <\/p>\n
This program is an extension of the priority program n \u00b0 1 aiming at a set of objectives, wich include employment and economic growth, as well as the fight against poverty, and creation of productive sectors of the national economy.<\/p>\n
In his opening speech , Mr. Ousmane Mamoudou Kane, Minister of Economic Affairs, indicated that the measures taken by the public authorities to limit the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic , which have affected the whole world, have caused serious damage to the national economy.<\/p>\n
according to the minister the economic take off plan is meant to improve the economic situation of the country as well as the living conditions of population.
\nHe concluded by thanking the financial and technical partners for attending, accompagnying, and supporting for the country\u2019s efforts.<\/p>\n
