On Tuesday 12 December, our country received (300) head of mountain gazelles, within the framework of the existing partnership between our country, represented by the National Park of Awleigatt, and the United Arab Emirates, in the field of conservation and restoration of extinct and endangered species and protection of biodiversity.<\/p>\n
The animals were received upon arrival at Oum El Tounsi International Airport by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Environment, Mr. Idoumou Ould Abdi Ould Jeyed, accompanied by the Charg\u00e9 d’Affaires of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates, His Excellency Mr. Hussein Abdullah Ali Al Balushi, the Director of the Protection and Restoration of Species and Habitats at the Ministry of Environment, Mr. Mohamed Abdallah Salma, and the Assistant Director of the Awleigatt Reserve, Mr. Mokhtar Ould Daddah.<\/p>\n
