This session is a prelude to the fifth biannual coordination meeting between the African Union, regional economic communities, and regional mechanisms.<\/p>\n<p>The two-day session will discuss agenda items, including the report of the 46th ordinary session of the Committee of Permanent Representatives, held from 18 June to 10 July 2023, in addition to the discussion and approval of the AU draft budget for 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The Executive Council will also discuss the reports of its commissions and the reports of the various specialized commissions.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministerial Committee in charge of African candidatures within the international system is one of the most important among these committees since it will hold its meeting during this session.
