Minister of Foreign Affairs Receives Head of MINUSMA

On 23 May, in Nouakchott, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, received Mr. El Ghassim Wane, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General, Head of the UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA).

The meeting was an opportunity to review cooperation between Mauritania and the United Nations and the ways and means likely to develop and diversify this cooperation, in addition to issues and the latest developments on the regional and international scene, particularly the situation in the Sahel.
