President of Republic Congratulates Journalists on World Press Freedom Day

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, congratulated the journalists of our country on the occasion of World Press Freedom Day, which coincides with May 3 of each year.

In his tweet on Wednesday, the President wrote: “On the occasion of World Press Freedom Day, I offer my sincere congratulations to the journalists of our country, assuring them of continuing efforts to consolidate press freedom and professionalize journalists as part of an overall plan to reform the sector and strengthen journalists’ awareness of the moral mission assigned to them”.
