On 22 October, the Minister of Justice, Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Cheikh Abdallahi Ould Boye, returned to Nouakchott from Morocco where he had taken part in the 70th session of the executive bureau of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice and the 38th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice held in the city of Ifrane (Morocco).
The last session reviewed, among other things, the report of the technical secretariat of the Council, the decisions and recommendations of the 69th and 70th sessions of the executive bureau, the section relating to terrorism, the harmonization of Arab legislations and the Arab convention for the fight against mismanagement.
During this session, Mauritania was elected member of the board of Directors of the Arab Center for Legal and Judicial Research.
