Minister Delegate in Charge of the Budget returns to Nouakchott

The Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance in charge of the Budget, Kodioro Moussa N’Guenore, returned to Nouakchott on Monday morning after representing our country at the conference organized by the African Union on the continent’s debt management mechanisms, held in the Togolese capital Lomé from 12 to 14 May.

The Minister Delegate participated actively in the conference, which was characterized by high-level discussions on African strategies to responsibly manage public debt, finance development and enhance fiscal resilience.

In his speech at the conference, the Minister highlighted the reforms that Mauritania is implementing to ensure the sustainability of public debt and promote transparency in the m On the sidelines of the conference, the Minister held meetings with officials from the international rating agencies Moody’s and Standard & Poor’s, as part of a strategic communication with technical and financial partners.
