Mauritania’s Ambassador to Australia Presents Credentials

On 6 November, in Canberra, HE Mr. Mohamed Yahya Ould Teiss presented his credentials to Her Excellency Ms. Sam Mostyn, the Governor General of Australia, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to Australia, residing in Paris.

During the ceremony, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, to HE Ms. Sam Mostyn.

Mr. Ould Teiss welcomed the level of the relations between the two countries and expressed his desire to work with Australian officials to strengthen them at both bilateral and multilateral levels.

For her part, Ms. Sam Mostyn requested the Ambassador to convey her greetings and respect to Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, the President of the Republic.
