Foreign Minister Chairs OIC Foreign Ministers Emergency Session

On 5 March, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, chaired the emergency session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers to discuss the ongoing Israeli aggression against the brotherly Palestinian people.

In his opening speech, the Minister noted that this meeting comes at a crucial moment when this aggression has reached its climax with the escalation of massacres, the latest of which is the massacre at the Nabulsi roundabout.

He expressed hope that this meeting will make appropriate decisions that serve the urgent objective of immediately and definitively ending the war against Gaza, ensuring the delivery of aid and relief to citizens as soon as possible and in required quantities to guarantee their return to their homes and consider the necessary measures to rebuild the infrastructure and public facilities destroyed by the Israeli war machine.
