Mauritania Renews its Support for the One-China Principle

The Islamic Republic of Mauritania expressed its firm support for the one-China principle.
This came in a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, yesterday Monday, a copy of which was received by the Mauritanian News Agency, the text of which is as follows:
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad seizes the occasion of the elections that took place last Saturday in Taiwan to renew its firm support for the one-China principle, stressing the permanent keenness of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to develop and strengthen fruitful friendly relations in all fields with the People’s Republic of China to serve the interests of the two friendly peoples.”
